菲律宾遭台风与季风侵袭
According to the Philippine National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), since July 11, the country has been successively impacted by Typhoon Gumei, Typhoon Peipian, and the Southwest Monsoon. As of 8:00 AM on July 26, the total number of people affected has surpassed 1.31 million.
The NDRRMC further detailed that the compounded effects of these weather disturbances have led to widespread flooding and landslides across multiple regions. The ongoing situation has strained relief efforts as emergency services work to assist the displaced populations and address critical needs.
In light of the extensive damage and humanitarian challenges, the NDRRMC continues to coordinate with local governments and international partners to ensure an effective response and recovery plan is implemented.
